Transliteration: And God beheld that [it was good]. And [there was] evening and [there was] morning. Day third.

Transliteration: And were the evening and the morning day the third.

Genesis 1:13 in English (KJV):

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Commentary:

The third day fits the “modern science” model more than the young earth creation model. Surely the days overlapped and the days describe creation events as they were set in motion more than a strict “modern science” chronology.
